Electric RC Cars and SNOW!
Contrary to what i believed, it is actually not a good thing to race your Gas Powered RC Car or Truck through the snow. This is due to the many electronic components, for example, your remote radio receptor on the car itself. Obviously, this being the case, it is DEFINITELY NOT good to attempt to race your Electric RC Car through Snow or Water. This was true until Traxxas came out with their new E-Maxx.
I recently read an article in RC Driver about the new Traxxas E-Maxx, which has a new amazing feature. The new feature? It is an Electric RC Truck that has been WATERPROOFED! You read that right, WATERPROOFED! This gives it the capability of splashing through puddles, or even better, romping through the SNOW! Now, being that it just snowed about 2 ft here yesterday, and there is more on the way, this is exciting news to me! Anyone who loves the wonderful world of RC’s will find this to be very exciting because now you do not have to wait to drive you car until summer! You can play with it all year long!
